Tom Curry, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department and a co-leader of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services group, was quoted in “Fintech Continues to Offer Strategic Challenges” in Banker & Tradesman. Tom addressed technology innovations that have transformed the banking industry, including operations and consumer expectations. Tom noted the rise of fintech has helped people who previously had limited or no access to banking products become eligible for credit. In addition, Tom predicted there will be ongoing public policy benefits as fintechs develop alternative underwriting systems, as long as the results are not biased.
