Tom Curry Quoted on the OCC’s Fintech Charter in American Banker

Tom Curry, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department and co-leader of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services group, commented on the Federal Reserve Board’s role in OCC fintech charters in the American Banker article, “Fed will have the say on key parts of OCC’s Fintech Charter.” According to Tom, “The fact that Comptroller Joseph Otting announced they would proceed does” give the Fed “more incentive … as the gatekeeper of the payments system to reach out to the OCC as it considers an applicant.”
