Paul J. Ayoub, a member of Nutter’s Executive Committee and partner in the Real Estate and Finance Department and Nutter Charitable Advisors, was profiled in The Boston Globe regarding his election to Chair of the National Board of Directors of ALSAC, the fundraising and awareness organization for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In the article, “Boston lawyer takes over as leader of St. Jude Children’s fundraising group,” Paul discusses his lifelong commitment to and involvement with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. He notes that while the hospital is based in Memphis, TN, St. Jude’s impacts can be felt in Boston and around the world as the lessons learned from caring for children with cancer and other catastrophic illnesses at St. Jude are widely shared in the medical community. “Our protocols are used in hospitals everywhere. It happens to be based in Memphis, but it’s really an international research and care center,” he said.

As Chair of the ALSAC Board, Paul provides oversight to ALSAC, which was founded five years before St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in 1957. ALSAC exists solely to raise funds and awareness from supporters around the world to operate St. Jude, an organization leading the way the world understands, treats and defeats childhood cancer and other life-threatening diseases.
