Deborah Manus, manager of the firm’s Trust and Estate’s Department and chair of the firm’s Legal Personnel Committee, published “Nutter’s High Level of Associate Satisfaction” in Bloomberg Law Reports on December 6. Deb discusses the firm’s success regarding associate satisfaction noting that Nutter ranked #1 in the nation for mid-level associate satisfaction for a third consecutive year, in the annual survey by The American Lawyer.  She also notes that Nutter has been at the top of The American Lawyer’s ranking of summer associate programs in Boston for four out of the last five years.

Deb attributes the firm’s continued success to a number of factors including the firm’s democratic culture built on mutual respect, open channels of communication, delegation of meaningful work assignments, formal training and other learning opportunities, and talent management.
