Richard A. Sipley, CFA, CFP joined the firm in 2019 as President. He exercises supervisory responsibility for all aspects of the firm’s operations and works directly with clients on the management of their wealth. These duties include equity research, portfolio management and asset allocation.
Prior to joining Nutter Investment Advisors, Mr. Sipley was Chief Investment Officer at Wellesley Investment Partners, where he advised high-net-worth families and foundations. Prior to that, Mr. Sipley was a Senior Vice President and Portfolio Manager at Boston Private Bank, where he oversaw the Dividend Growth Equity team and served as a member of the Asset Allocation Committee.
Mr. Sipley earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University and a Master of Business Administration from Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Certified Financial Planner®, and is a member of CFA Society Boston.

Vijay V. Naidu, CFA, joined Nutter Investment Advisors in 2015 as a Portfolio Manager. Vijay was previously with Palmer Dodge Advisors LLC as an Investment Advisor for 10 years, where he was responsible for managing portfolios, equity research, and trading. From 1993 to 2005, Vijay was a Portfolio Manager and Analyst at Testa, Hurwitz, & Thibeault, where he managed portfolios with varying asset allocations, researched companies, derived valuations, and executed trades. Vijay holds a B.S. in business administration from Northeastern University and an M.S. in finance from Boston College. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute.

James C. Bacon, CFA, joined Nutter Investment Advisors in 2017 as a Portfolio Manager. James coordinates the firm’s research efforts as its Director of Research and has over 20 years of institutional investment management experience with responsibilities including portfolio management, asset allocation, client relationship management, and equity research. He was previously Managing Director at The Farland Group, where he managed client accounts and relationships, developed the firm’s investment process and philosophy, and oversaw asset allocation and equity research as a member of the Investment Committee. His prior experience also includes positions as Chief Investment Officer of Granite Harbor Asset Management, LLC; Director of Research at Crestwood Advisors, LLC; Equity Research Analyst at MFS Investment Management; and Equity Research Associate at Eaton Vance Management. James is a Chartered Financial Analyst as well as a member of CFA Society Boston and the CFA Institute. He holds a B.S. in finance from Boston College and an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

Anu Bhasin Kothari joined Nutter Investment Advisors in 2021 as a Portfolio Manager. Previously, she was the Director of Investments and a member of the Investment Committee at Baldwin Brothers, where she co-managed the U.S. growth and core equity strategies. Prior to that, Anu was an associate portfolio manager in global and international equities at Macquarie Asset Management. Anu has also served as a senior global equity research analyst at State Street Global Advisors. She holds an MBA from the University of Chicago, an MA in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University, and a B.S. from St. Xaviers College.
