Overview

Matthew D. Wolpe is a law clerk in Nutter’s Litigation Department. He works with the firm’s litigation team through all stages of a case and across the full range of the department’s work, including business and commercial disputes, securities and white collar matters, employment, construction, and real estate litigation.

During law school, Matt was a staff editor for the Wake Forest Journal of Law & Policy, a member of the Moot Court Board, and a member of the school’s national moot court team. Matt spent two years as a research assistant to Professor Harold Anthony Lloyd, whose scholarship addresses the canons of statutory construction. He also served as a judicial intern to Associate Justice Philip Berger Jr. of the Supreme Court of North Carolina.

Before law school, Matt was an intern at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, where he worked with assistant district attorneys on a range of criminal matters.
