Overview

Barbara Grady Belmarsh is the Director of Talent and Equity at Nutter. She supports the growth and retention of a high-performing and diverse team of professionals through her focus on the continual advancement of our human resources and professional development strategies. 

Barbara first discovered her passion for human resources and talent development while practicing as an employment attorney at Verrill Dana. She transitioned to talent development by joining the legal personnel and development team at WilmerHale, where her responsibilities included implementation of the firm’s talent development strategies, performance management, mentoring, and employee relations. Most recently, Barbara served as a senior human resources business partner at Akamai Technologies, where she provided HR leadership and support to business leaders and played a key role in the creation of an Employee Relations Center of Excellence.

Barbara earned her J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School and her B.A., magna cum laude, from Regis College. She is SHRM - SCP certified.
