Tom Curry, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department and a co-leader of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services groupJay Cabral, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department, and Dan Hartman, an associate in Nutter’s Litigation Department, wrote an article for Banker & Tradesman. The article, titled, "The Benefits (and Risks) of Using Alternative Data in Credit Underwriting" describes how alternative data often includes information not typically found in consumers' traditional credit reports. In addition, the authors write, "The use of alternative data may enable millions of U.S. adults a way to gain access to credit, more cheaply and efficiently, and build a more robust credit history."
