Sara Goldman Curley, a partner and deputy chair of Nutter’s Private Client Department, co-authored an article on remote notarization in the Boston Bar Journal. In the article, “Massachusetts (Temporarily!) Allows Remote Notarization,” Sara discussed how Massachusetts enacted remote notarization and witnessing through “an Act providing for virtual notarization to address the circumstances related to COVID-19.” She explored the requirements for remote notarizations, retention requirements, restrictions on who can notarize, and more.
