Natalie Choate, a member of Nutter’s Trusts and Estates Department, wrote an article addressing 12 no-tax and low-tax retirement plan distributions in Morningstar News. In the article, “12 No-Tax and Low-Tax Retirement Plan Distributions,” Natalie notes that if a recipient qualifies for one of these deals, the distribution may be taxed more favorably than as a 100% taxable chunk of ordinary income.
