Michael Scott, Nutter’s co-managing partner, discussed the transformation of Boston’s commercial real estate market over time, legal challenges that can come up as a result of the MBTA Communities Act, and new energy codes in the Boston Real Estate Times Podcast. In the episode, Michael spoke on the difficulties that would arise if Boston’s market were to experience a real estate meltdown. Michael said, “I’m not anticipating a meltdown, per se. A lot of landlords and building owners have been making adjustments to the current environment… If there is a meltdown, real estate is all about relationships, and making sure that you have enough capital to sustain.”
