Mary Ryan Selected as the 2023 Pickering Award Recipient
Print PDFMary Ryan, senior of counsel in Nutter’s Litigation Department, will receive the American Bar Association’s 2023 John H. Pickering Award of Achievement. The award honors the life and accomplishments of John H. Pickering, an outstanding lawyer who was involved in a wide variety of pro bono activities and law-related societal issues affecting the elderly. Mary’s career reflects a profound and longstanding commitment of dedicated service to the profession and to furthering access to justice for all. She has served in numerous leadership roles at the local, state, and national levels working for systemic justice reforms through studies, reports, and advocacy on issues such as foreclosure, domestic violence, eviction, and immigration.
The ABA will present Mary with the 2023 Pickering Award at its Annual Meeting in Denver on August 5.
