Nutter hosts pro bono partner MLP Boston during its HQ transition
Print PDFNutter is pleased and proud to be engaging in a new type of pro bono partnership with the Medical-Legal Partnership of Boston (“MLP | Boston”) by hosting its staff in our offices while MLP plans for its long-term headquarters. As of June 17, 2014, for at least 3 months, five members of the MLP | Boston staff will be working from our Boston office.
The opportunity to temporarily host MLP | Boston allows for a creative deepening of Nutter and MLP’s long-standing pro bono collaboration and allows MLP to communicate full program independence and integrity to its healthcare partners and stakeholders while they plan for the future.
MLP | Boston integrates “legal care” into healthcare delivery systems serving low-income, medically vulnerable people. They provide a variety of services to project partners sited at Boston Children’s Hospital (Primary Care Center), Boston Medical Center (Family Medicine, Geriatrics, Pediatrics, Women’s Health), Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Good Samaritan Medical Center (Brockton), and Saint Anne’s Hospital (Fall River). [1] Populations served include children, adults, families, cancer patients, and older adults (55+).
