Nutter honored at The Victim Rights Law Center’s Shining Star Awards Reception for pro bono contributions

The Victim Rights Law Center (VRLC) recognized the firm for its support of their Rape Survivors Law Project (RSLP) training program with a certificate of recognition at its annual Shining Star Awards Reception on June 21st at the Boston Park Plaza Hotel. A number of Nutter attorneys participate in these trainings and, as a result, provide pro bono legal services by representing victims before various state courts in “Dwyer hearings” to protect certain privileged records and by helping sexually assaulted immigrants apply for U-Visas from the federal government.
