Nutter ranked first in the nation for associate satisfaction for the third year in a row, in the annual survey conducted by The American Lawyer, a leading national trade publication, and published online today.

The annual survey examines 12 areas that contribute to job satisfaction including relations with partners and other associates, the interest and satisfaction level of the work, training and guidance, management’s openness about firm strategies and partnership chances, and the firm's attitude toward pro bono work.

“We see associate satisfaction as an important part of our commitment to clients, because satisfied associates add value,” said Michael Mooney, Nutter’s managing partner. “Our associates are integral members of our legal teams and we believe in supporting and challenging them to perform at the highest levels and be accountable. We provide them with resources to help them succeed.”

Key to Nutter associates’ satisfaction is an open organizational structure based on ensuring that associates have access to senior-level guidance, do meaningful work, and have a clear picture of their future.

This year’s survey included over 5,000 respondents.
