Marianne Ajemian, a partner in the firm’s Real Estate and Finance practice and a member of the Executive Committee, was quoted in “diamond deals” appearing in the August 2008 issue of Pink Magazine. The article features women rainmakers who are changing the way deals are done in big business.

Marianne is quoted on the deal she closed last year for Tedeschi Realty Corporation, which included the sale of 25 shopping centers for $377 million. “There’s no mystery or magic to it,” she says. “People sometimes think there’s something conniving about deal-making – that it has to do with smooth-talking or outwitting the people on the other side. But it’s not about gamesmanship. It’s about knowing your market and your clients’ needs so you can structure a strategy that delivers.”
