Tom Curry, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department and co-leader of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services group, was featured for his new role as chair of the Milken Institute’s Fintech Advisory Committee in Crowdfund Insider. In the article, “Former Comptroller Tom Curry Appointed Chair of Milken’s Institute’s Fintech Advisory Committee,” Tom said, “Banking and finance are not static businesses, and must be allowed to evolve. The ability to adapt to meet the changing needs of customers and the marketplace is as critical today as it was 50 or 100 years ago. Simultaneously, we must also be able to responsibly innovate in order to take advantage of the large wave of progress quickly coming our way. Now that online lending and payments technologies are increasingly widespread, we must determine ‘what’s next?’ and that’s exactly where the Fintech Advisory Committee comes in.”
