Print PDF

Steven Saunders, chair of Nutter’s Intellectual Property Department, will present at the 2021 German American Conference at Harvard Kennedy School. Steven will moderate the "Good Patents – Bad Patents: Does Protecting the Pharmaceutical Industry Also Benefit the Most Vulnerable?" panel, which will discuss the controversial question if temporary patent waivers have the potential to increase access to essential medicines from different angles.

For over 10 years, the German American Conference has been one of the largest student-led conferences in North America and has provided a platform for transatlantic dialogue and connection between decisionmakers and next-generation leaders. Each year their organizing committee, which consists of students and researchers from the Boston area, hosts a conference to engage its audience with the most pressing issues facing both sides of the Atlantic.
