Sarah Kelly, a partner in the firm’s Litigation Department and Government Investigations and White Collar Defense practice groups, presented at ACI's Reducing Legal Risks in the Sales and Marketing of Medical Devices Conference in Chicago on April 30. Sarah served on a panel discussing the False Claims Act's applicability to medical device manufacturers and the increasing interest by the Department of Justice in investigating and prosecuting device companies. The panel included an Assistant U.S. Attorney and an expert in products liability law. The audience at the conference consisted of in-house counsel, including attorneys from Boston Scientific, Cardinal Health, and GE Healthcare.
