Tom Curry, a partner in Nutter’s Corporate and Transactions Department and a co-leader of the firm’s Banking and Financial Services group, wrote an article for Banker & Tradesman. The article, titled, “Can Hurdles to Stablecoins be Safely Addressed?” analyzed the debate among central bankers, economic policymakers, and lawmakers about the future role of stablecoins as an alternative to fiat currencies and the myriad concerns around legal and regulatory risks, cybersecurity, financial stability, and monetary policy.
