Overview

Sara J. Leichtman is an associate in Nutter’s Private Client Department. In addition to her summer associate work at Nutter, Sara’s professional experience includes interning with The Honorable Geraldine S. Hines at the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court, Judge Casper at the Federal District Court, and interning at the Massachusetts Appeals Court.

Sara is Co-Chair of the Practice Fundamentals Committee of the Boston Bar Association’s Trusts and Estates Section. She was accepted into the New England Fellows Institute of the American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC). Sara also serves on the Young Professional’s Board of the Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. 

During law school, Sara served as an Executive Comment and Note Editor for the New England Law Review, president of the Women’s Law Caucus, and secretary of the Federal Bar Association. She participated in the 2014 New England Regional Mock Trial Competition and served as a mentor in the New England Law | Boston Student Mentorship Program. Upon graduating, Sara received the New England Law | Boston Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award in recognition of her overall scholastic accomplishment.

Prior to law school, Sara worked as a legal assistant at a law firm in Boston.

    Nutter served as legal counsel to Fowler High Precision, Inc., a specialty manufacturer and distributor of dimensional metrology tools, highly engineered systems, and calibration services, in connection with its recapitalization by Pfingsten Partners, LLC.
