Nutter’s Ronald Cahill named among Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars

Ronald E. Cahill, partner and chair of the Intellectual Property Litigation Practice at Nutter McClennen & Fish LLP, has been named to the exclusive list of IP Stars 2014 for Massachusetts and the United States by the highly regarded news source Managing Intellectual Property. Nutter was named among the IP Star firm rankings in Massachusetts and the United States.

Managing Intellectual Property conducts an exhaustive survey and research that covers 80 countries to create rankings of attorneys and law firms that show exemplary work in the IP field. The IP Stars are recommended by their peers and clients. In his IP Star ranking, Cahill was noted for, among other areas, his work in trade secrets, post-grant proceedings, patent prosecution, patent litigation, and USPTO litigation.

Cahill is the former chair of the American Intellectual Property Law Association Patent Law Committee on Legal Standards for Obviousness, and is past chair of the Patent Litigation Committee of the Boston Patent Law Association. He concentrates his practice in patent portfolio development and intellectual property litigation in federal courts.
