Overview
Michael O. Horowitz is an associate in Nutter’s Real Estate Department. He advises clients on commercial real estate and real estate financing transactions.
Michael has experience representing real estate companies in the acquisition and disposition of hotels and residential buildings. He frequently represents lenders in connection with mortgage and mezzanine financing. Michael also drafts and negotiates purchase and sale agreements and commercial leases.
Prior to joining Nutter, Michael was an associate in the private equity and debt finance practices of an international law firm. Before that, he was a real estate associate at an international law firm. Michael also interned with the Hon. Michael D. Vhay at the Massachusetts Land Court.
During law school, Michael was a board member and executive editor at Review of Banking and Financial Law. He authored Tax Cuts and Job Act’s BEAT Provision and International Treaties and served as a research assistant.
