Haley S. Grissom
Haley S. Grissom is an associate in Nutter’s Litigation Department.
Previously, Haley served as a law clerk at a New England-based law firm. She researched, analyzed, and drafted legal memoranda regarding tort liability. She also developed case theories with her mentoring attorney by analyzing evidence and researching applicable case law.
While in law school, Haley served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Thomas Kaplanes in the Dorchester Division of the Boston Municipal Court. There, she developed a comprehensive “Judges’ Guide to Motions for New Trial” and studied court procedure and legal policy. Haley also served as a student attorney with the Juvenile Rights Advocacy Project, where she advocated for clients in court and earned services for clients at Individualized Education Plan meetings.
Prior to law school, Haley was a business analyst at the JCPenney headquarters in Plano, TX, where she projected future demand trends based on analysis of sales data and allocated goods for online sales in four home décor departments.
Haley served as treasurer of the Children’s Rights Group during law school. She was a semi-finalist at the BC Law Negotiation Competition.
