Paul J. Cronin, a partner in the firm’s Intellectual Property Litigation practice group, presented at the first annual IP Strategy Summit on October 6. Paul presented on the panel “Post Issuance Proceedings – Their Role in Your IP Strategy,” which focused on understanding how to best utilize the AIA’s four pseudo-litigation proceedings—post-grant review, inter partes review, CBM, and the new supplemental examination (a process which is supposed to be faster and more streamlined)—to help shore up effective defensive and enforcement strategies.
