Jeremy Halpern and Will Bernat to Present at The Capital Network’s ‘Fundraising Bootcamp for Early Stage Entrepreneurs’

Nutter will host The Capital Network’s (TCN) “Venture Fast Track: Fundraising Bootcamp for Early Stage Entrepreneurs” on November 8. TCN entrepreneurs and investors will convene for a day of learning from and interacting with some of New England’s leading investors, entrepreneurs, and early-stage experts through workshops, panels, and discussion. Attendees will leave the Venture Fast Track Bootcamp with concrete materials and knowledge that will help them move their company forward through the various stages of the fundraising process, with a new network of mentors and peers from which to draw.

Jeremy Halpern, co-chair of the Emerging Companies Group at Nutter, will present “Pitches & Decks – Elevator Pitches to Formal Presentation – an Evolution,” which will address how to target, locate, approach, and close with venture capitalists, angels, and strategic investors. Will Bernat, co-chair of the Emerging Companies Group at Nutter, will speak on the panel “Beyond the Pitch: Closing the Deal with Investors.”

At the end of the event, Nutter will holding office hours (20 minute time slots) where individuals can ask Corporate or Intellectual Property attorneys some quick questions. This is a great opportunity to get one-on-one legal advice for your business. Slots are available on a first come, first served basis. A sign-up link is included with registration.

Entrepreneurs come ready with one-minute pitches and a burning question. Investors and mentors come ready with a fountain of knowledge and advice.

Pitching is an art where practice makes perfect. Here you get the opportunity to give a 90 second pitch to a room full of experienced entrepreneurs, peers and investors (see Lunch Mentor List). Get the feedback you need and the glory you crave! Sign-up for this happens in the morning – you must attend the full day to participate and a few will be selected at random to participate. Get practicing!

3:15 – 3:45 – Ice Cream Social and Networking (Sponsored by FoMu)

3:45 – 4:45 – “Ask a Lawyer” Office Hours with Nutter
