James Dawson, a member of the firm’s Business practice, served as a panelist at MCLE’s Annual Business & Securities Law Conference on October 28. The panel explored the latest trends in venture capital and other financing for private companies and M&A activity. The expert panel discussed advantages and disadvantages of LLCs for technology-based companies, as well as operating agreement provisions designed to increase flexibility and minimize administrative burdens.
