Overview

Chelsea M. Torres, Ph.D., is an associate in Nutter’s Litigation Department. Clients rely on Chelsea’s experience in all stages of litigation, including fact investigation, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and appeals. She has an extensive background in legal research.

Prior to joining Nutter, Chelsea was a litigation associate at an international law firm. She gained legal experience as a research assistant for Dean Erwin Chemerinsky at Berkeley Law. Additionally, Chelsea was a writing instructor at Boston College and Boston University.

During law school, Chelsea served as managing editor of Berkeley Journal of Criminal Law and as Academic Empowerment Chair of Berkeley Law’s Coalition for Diversity. She also co-founded the Betsy and Hatsy Endowed Scholarship Fund at Boston University.
