Jay Wager is the Director of Business Development for the firm. He is a seasoned business development professional with over twenty years in legal and strategy consulting services. He works with firm leadership, practice and industry groups, and individual attorneys in setting and driving business development agendas and forging collaborative relationships with clients.
As a part of the Practice Development team, Jay focuses on business development strategy and implementation. He helps Nutter secure new clients, build existing relationships and grow revenues by creating and implementing successful sales and marketing processes. His specialties are client planning, service positioning, customer relationship management and opportunity assessment campaigns that build trust, identify needs, propose solutions and deliver value. Prior to joining Nutter in 2014, Jay was Director of Business Development at Edwards Wildman and prior to that held a similar role at Wolf Greenfield.
Jay is a Past President of the Legal Marketing Association-New England Chapter and has held a number of officer-level positions for the organization. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from the University of Vermont.
