Gregory R. Bradford is an associate in Nutter's Real Estate Department and a member of the Development, Land Use and Permitting and Commercial and Real Estate Finance practice groups. His practice focuses on transactional real estate matters, as well as permitting, land use and environmental matters.

Gregory’s representative experience includes the following:

  • Representing developer in the acquisition of large redevelopment sites in Eastern and Central Massachusetts.
  • Drafting complex easement agreements and title documents in connection with the redevelopment of a commercial site near Boston.
  • Reviewing proposed commercial project’s compliance with minimum performance standards under the Cape Cod Commission Act and Regional Policy Plan.
  • Assisting with the representation of a municipality on various transactional and land use matters.
  • Preparing special permit applications and memoranda to local zoning board of appeals.
  • Analyzing federal regulations and restrictions related to potential development projects on airport properties.
  • Assisting with the representation of regional and national banks on construction and permanent financings of several commercial properties in Boston, Cambridge, the Mid-Atlantic, and the West Coast.

Gregory has also co-authored comprehensive case law updates with Mary K. Ryan for the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc.’s Annual Environmental and Land Use Conference since 2012, and he has published articles on contemporary environmental and land use matters with REBA News and with the Boston College Law Review.

During law school, Gregory served on the executive board of the Boston College Law Review. He also coordinated a comprehensive legal research project that was submitted to the presidential commission on the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, and received a graduation award for his commitment to scholarship and the student body. He gained previous legal experience as an intern with Conservation Law Foundation.

  • The Boulevard, Boston Takes Shape

    Advised the owner and developer of a downtown Boston property in the financing of a new 12-story residential and commercial condominium project, known as The Boulevard, in the negotiation of senior mortgage financing as well as a preferred equity investment by the developer’s partner, a national investment management firm. The project is designed to contain 31 market-rate units, five artists’ units, a retail unit, and a garage, and includes elements of a historic Bulfinch building.
