Overview

Erik J. McHale is an associate in Nutter’s Real Estate Department. His practice focuses on all aspects of commercial real estate law, including acquisitions and dispositions, real estate financing, leasing, and development and permitting. Erik frequently negotiates and drafts a variety of real estate contracts in addition to performing property due diligence analyses of complex title matters.

Prior to joining Nutter, Erik was a real estate associate at a New England-based law firm. Before that, he was a legal intern for a Massachusetts-based corporation and a judicial intern for the Hon. David H. Hennessy at the U.S. District Court, District of Massachusetts.

During law school, Erik served as an articles editor on the Suffolk University Law Review. He received the Jurisprudence Award in his Business Entity Fundamentals class and was the winner of “Best Brief” in his Legal Practice Skills class. He was also a member of the Rehnquist Inn, Phi Delta Phi International Legal Honor Society and the Frankfurter chapter of the Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity.
