Stephen Patterson is a partner in the Business Department. His practice focuses on commercial finance. Stephen represents major financial institutions and companies in complex, multi-party financings, agented credit facilities and capital formation transactions, with a significant emphasis on equipment lease syndication and origination transactions, asset-based/commercial lending and tax credit and mortgage warehouse facilities.
Steve’s representative transactions include:
- Representation of purchasers in over 250 equipment lease syndication transactions for a wide range of assets from technology to industrial to transportation equipment
- Representation of a number of the largest banks in the country providing warehouse facilities to several of the largest affordable housing syndicators in the United States; aggregate commitments under these facilities exceed $500 million
- Representation of a number of the largest banks in the country in connection with affordable housing warehouse lines of credit, in over 250 fundings per year in multi-family projects
- Representation of an equipment leasing company from its initial start-up in 2004 through its present status as one of the 50 largest equipment leasing companies in the country
- Representation of one of the largest national banks in the United States in mortgage warehouse facilities to Fannie Mae DUS lenders and Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae approved lenders
- Representation of various financial institutions in asset-based facilities and the workout of asset-based facilities
- Representation of large financial institutions and regional banks in investor bridge warehouse facilities
