Peter Nils Baylor is a partner in the Business Department. He concentrates his practice in bankruptcy reorganizations, and trademark and copyright law.
Peter's bankruptcy practice entails the representation of both debtors and creditors. He has successfully reorganized publicly-traded companies as well as small, privately-owned companies. His creditor clients have included The Equitable, Massachusetts Mutual, Anheuser-Busch, IBM, and all major Boston banks. Peter has lectured for the New England Banking Institute and the Boston Bar Association.
Peter's intellectual property practice covers trademark and copyright matters, including domestic and foreign registrations, and dispute resolution both in and out of court. He is a member of the International Trademark Association.
Peter is also a member of the College des Conseillers of The French Library and Cultural Center in Boston, a church school teacher, and a former library trustee in his hometown. Most of his education was obtained courtesy of the United States Army (1968 - 1972).
