Paul R. Eklund is a partner in Nutter's Business Department, chair of the Real Estate Fund Formation practice group, and a member of the Life Sciences and Commercial Finance groups. He has significant expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and partnerships (both real estate and corporate), fund formations, corporate governance, finance and representing private, not-for-profit and family-owned companies.
Paul represents manufacturers, distributors, real estate companies and institutions, not-for-profit institutions and boards, financial institutions, and health care companies and institutions from small start-ups to mature multi-national organizations. His clients include Bank of America, Tufts Health Plan, New England Aquarium, Pine Street Inn, Prime Motor Group, Lallemand Inc. and Clarity Imaging Technologies.
Paul is a member of the American Health Lawyers Association, Association for Corporate Growth, and the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties. He is a member of the American, Massachusetts, and Boston Bar Associations and serves on the BBA's Corporate Law Committee. He was selected for Massachusetts Super Lawyers in the November 2004 and 2005 issues of Boston magazine. He has written many articles on real estate funds and is the editor of LexisNexis' Massachusetts Corporate Forms.
A resident of Wellesley, Paul has been active in the town's youth organizations.
