Paul J. Cronin is a partner in the Litigation and Intellectual Property Departments and a member of the Intellectual Property Litigation practice group. His practice focuses on trial work in cases involving patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyright disputes. He also counsels clients with respect to the licensing and procurement of intellectual property rights, due diligence studies, and product clearances.
Paul’s work on high-profile patent infringement cases has led to favorable jury verdicts and settlements, and he has been recognized as a top litigator for his work on cases involving computer hardware and software, anti-piracy technology, weapons technology, bioprocess systems, automatic voice recognition, polymer chemistry, injection molding systems, and consumer products.
Prior to joining Nutter, Paul was a principal at an intellectual property litigation boutique firm in Boston. He also practiced for a number of years as a litigation partner at a large international firm in Boston. Earlier in his career, he served as a Special Assistant District Attorney in Middlesex County, where he led bench and jury trials as a criminal prosecutor.
Paul is an active member of the community and has been recognized for his work coaching youth sports. He also participates in charitable events each year, including the annual Pan-Mass Challenge.
