Jonathan R. Fishburn

Jonathan is an associate in the firm’s Trusts and Estates Department. His practice includes sophisticated estate planning and all aspects of estate and trust administration, with a focus on minimizing estate, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes. Jonathan advises fiduciaries, trustees and family members in a wide variety of probate matters, including the preparation of federal and state estate tax returns; administration of revocable and irrevocable trusts; and appointment of guardians and conservators of incapacitated persons.

Prior to law school, Jonathan worked as a lobbyist for the Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC), representing the nation's medical schools and teaching hospitals in front of Congress on issues such as medical research and higher education policy.
