Jeremy Halpern, a partner in the Business Department and the Director of Business Development for the Emerging Companies Group, presented at The Capital Network (TCN) Expert Lunch “Understanding the Dilution Impact of Early Stage Capital” on June 28. During this working group lunch, Jeremy helped 22 entrepreneurs build their own capitalization table and explained how to use this tool to understand the dilutive impact of various investment decisions such as: stock options, restricted stock, early stage angel or venture capital investment, “down-rounds,” and anti-dilution provisions.
